I am a CF Warrior. I was born with cystic fibrosis and taught early on that this disease isn’t managed only in a clinic—it’s influenced daily by how you move, fuel your body, and show up for your health. From a young age, exercise and nutrition were survival tools, not optional habits. Even with my best efforts, CF progressed and at 32 I need a double lung transplant to save my life. Today, I am a double lung and kidney transplant recipient, a personal trainer and nutritionist with over 25 years of experience, and the author of four books written for CF Warriors.

I don’t teach theory or what I read in a book—I teach what I’ve lived. I teach the lessons I've learned in the 50 years spent fighting. I teach what I wish I knew when I was younger.

Quick Facts About Me

  • I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 2 years old. My parents were told I wouldn’t live past 10. But limits have never defined me—grit has.

  • I’m a double lung and kidney transplant survivor, NYC Marathon finisher, Mr. CT bodybuilding champion, certified personal trainer, and nutrition expert with over 25 years of experience and 50,000+ client hours.

  • I’m a certified personal trainer through ACE, NSCA, NASM, and CSCS. I am pre/post natal certified as well as many other certs. throughout the years.

  • I created the revolutionary HIIT + PAUSE system for airway clearance by accident. I trained most of my life in a conventional way, only realizing that CF Warriors' needs are different. We need airway clearance, strength, resilience, and endurance.

  • When I was 26, I became a pro bodybuilder and won the CT State Men's title earning a spot at the National Championships.

  • At 32, after undergoing a life-saving double lung transplant, I was in the ICU and made my surgeon a bold promise: “Give me a year, and we’ll cross the finish line at the New York City Marathon—together.” Less than 12 months later, defying the odds, we did exactly that.

  • In 2019, after battling end stage kidney disease brought on by the same medications that protected my new lungs, I underwent a kidney transplant donated by my amazing brother, Anthony.

  • Today, I live in CT, USA and have 3 wonderful sons who inspired me daily.
